Read our most frequently asked questions regarding our Gift Cards.
Lidl follows a bulk buying policy to help ensure product availability for all customers.
If you wish to place a large order, please contact:
- giftcards@lidl.ie for bulk orders in the Republic of Ireland
- giftcards@lidl-ni.co.uk for bulk orders in Northern Ireland
Alternatively, you may speak directly with the Store Management Team, who will be happy to assist in arranging a special order tailored to your required quantity and preferred purchase date.
Republic of Ireland Gift Cards are valid for use in any Lidl store located within the Republic of Ireland.
Northern Ireland Gift Cards are valid for use in any Lidl store located within Northern Ireland.
Gift cards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed across countries.
Gift cards are available in physical format or as digital e-vouchers.
No personal data will be stored on the Gift Card.
No. A top up is not possible. When the value of the card has been used it should be disposed of.
The Gift Card is valid for 5 years or until the value of the card has been redeemed.
The current balance of your Gift Card will be displayed on your last receipt. You can also see your balance at the checkout in any LIDL store or online at www.lidl-ni.co.uk/giftcard.
The remaining balance will stay on your LIDL Gift Card for the validity period of the Gift Card. The balance cannot be redeemed for cash.
In the event of loss, theft, or misuse of a Gift Card, Lidl is not obligated to provide a replacement.
However, if the card has not yet been used, we may be able to issue a new one.
To do so, you must provide the Gift Card serial number and PIN, which are required to block the original card before any use. If the Gift Card serial number and PIN cannot be provided, we will not be able to replace.
Republic of Ireland Gift Cards are valid for use in any Lidl store located within the Republic of Ireland.
Northern Ireland Gift Cards are valid for use in any Lidl store located within Northern Ireland.
Gift cards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed across countries.
Unfortunately, Lidl Gift Cards cannot be used across different countries.
Gift Cards can be used as payment in all Lidl Stores in Northern Ireland. To pay just present your card at the till.
Yes. You can pay for your purchase at any time with one or more Gift Cards.
A cash payment for the gift card balance is not possible. The Gift Card is valid for 5 years after the initial activation. All remaining balance will stay on your LIDL Gift Card until redeemed in full.
Yes. If the Gift Card balance is insufficient to fully pay for the purchase, you can pay the balance by cash or card.

The followings discounts are available in both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland when ordering Corporate or Charity Gift Cards:
- 2% discount on orders between €/£ 1,000 & €4,999
- 3% discount on orders between €/£ 5,000 & €9,999
- 5% discount on order if over €/£ 10,000 +
